I’m a high school student in Shenzhen, interested in gender studies and mathematics. My work moves between reading cultural materials, testing explanations, building prototypes, and sharing questions with others.
A notebook of failed approaches
One mathematics problem occupied me for two weeks. When I brought four approaches to my teacher, I had not solved it, but I could explain where each approach got stuck. A hint helped me return to my reasoning and eventually find my own solution.
I enjoy mathematics for its surprising ideas and the precision of proof. I want to understand which assumptions make a conclusion possible, and what happens when one changes.

I have studied the zhongruan since childhood and also learned pipa and ballet. At school, rhythmic gymnastics brought rehearsal and group performance into my week. These interests have their own place in my life.

I hope to study gender and mathematics, continue research and teaching, and bring NyxGuard into college for further development. I want to keep asking what a piece of evidence establishes, whose perspective is missing, and what a proposed solution requires from the people it affects.
